Daily aspirin cuts colon cancer risk for some patients

A European study found a daily aspirin might reduce by half the risk of colon cancer in people with Lynch syndrome who have a genetic susceptibility to the disease. The researchers said the beneficial effect continued even after the daily aspirin therapy was stopped four years into the study.
