The economic crisis is creating serious problems for retirees trying to figure out where they should go if they relocate after leaving work. States that look like tax havens for retirees today may well be forced to raise taxes, experts said. But there is one aspect of the U.S. recession that might work to the advantage of retirees, housing prices. "We see exceptional opportunities in some sought-after retirement destinations," said Mary Lu Abbott, editor of Where to Retire magazine.
