Federal reports criticize pandemic planning:

Two reports by federal investigators being released today say most state and local governments are not prepared to deal with the needs of a flu pandemic, from a surge in patients to distribution of vaccines and antiviral drugs. The reports said areas need to work on improving coordination among health groups, recruiting medical worker volunteers, and tracking beds and medical equipment.
