Most asthmatic children don't get follow-up after ED visit

Two-thirds of children who go to the hospital emergency department for asthma problems never get the directed follow-up care, a study found. Researchers said children whose mothers had lower education levels were significantly less likely to have a follow-up visit than were children of more highly educated mothers.
