New book makes case for creativity, not testing

In his new book, Chinese-born scholar Yong Zhao argues for the need to maintain creativity and innovation in the classroom instead of focusing on standardized testing, National Board Certified Teacher Anthony Cody writes in this blog post. In his book, Zhao writes that America is at a "crossroads," and education reformers should choose the path "that cherishes individual talents, cultivates creativity, celebrates diversity and inspires curiosity."
