Before you launch a social-media marketing campaign, it's worth taking a moment to figure out how that campaign will fit into your existing PR and marketing efforts, writes Lee Odden. Giving some thought to integration at an early stage can help eliminate institutional roadblocks down the line, Odden notes. "Even though a company sees the value of social media, it doesn't mean the organization or its members are ready for it," he writes.
