Don't reduce location data to a checklist of site features

Location data are pivotal when retailers such as Dunkin' Donuts consider opening a new store. The information needed, however, may vary depending on the type of store in question, writes Jim Stone. Instead of developing a standard checklist of features a suitable site must have, use location data to examine the context of each potential site and to choose the best location, he advises.
