Buyer beware in health stores

A cancer research journal recently published a report based on the findings of undercover shoppers in health food stores, who said they were shopping for breast cancer patients. The study revealed shoppers were seldom asked about the patient's medications and may have received recommendations that could be harmful. The same trend held true for customers buying weight-loss supplements.
