Bombardier searches for financing for 100-seat jet

Bombardier is seeking financing to develop a plane that will seat more than 100 people. Montreal-based Bombardier, which builds regional jets, is asking the Canadian government and local governments to help it raise $2 billion. If it does build the 100-seat plane, Bombardier will compete with Boeing and Airbus for orders.
