Disney to hire search firm to find Eisner replacement

The board of Walt Disney Co. says it will hire a search firm to find a replacement for chief executive officer Michael D. Eisner. Disney says it will have made its decision by June. In addition to the sole internal candidate -- Disney president Robert Iger -- a slew of media bigwigs are considered front-runners. They include Yahoo's Terry Semel, News Corp.'s Peter Chernin, and Time Warner's Jeffrey L. Bewkes.
