Groups to promote diversity, training for ad industry

Leaders of the six largest worldwide agencies signed on to a program promoting diversity in hiring for advertising and marketing. The program was one of several initiatives announced at Advertising Week in New York City. In another development, the Newspaper Association of America will fund a program to get students to think more creatively about print ads.
