Grocers use technology to cash in on mobile phone popularity

With no end in sight for the popularity of cell phones, many retailers are finding ways to provide valuable services to their consumers via their mobile technology. Stores are able to provide loyalty cards, in-store displays and even payment terminals all through the customer's phone, eliminating much of the card-carrying clutter that often is associated with the shopping experience.
