Nielsen: People outnumbered by TVs in average home

TV sets now outnumber people in the average American home, with 2.73 sets compared to 2.55 residents, according to Nielsen Media Research. Statistics also show that half of American homes now have three or more sets, and 19% have just one, versus 1975, when 57% of homes had a single TV and 11% had three or more.
