Survey: Airports to invest cautiously in IT

In its Airport IT Trends Survey 2008, Airline Business magazine says self-service check-in will be the norm at two-thirds of airports within three to five years, while remote check-in and common bag-drop locations will be nearly ubiquitous. The survey predicts airports will be cautious with IT investments in 2009, with only 44% of respondents saying their spending will increase.
