Group denies being source of attack e-mail on out mayoral contender

The leader of a Christian group in Houston is denying any connection to an e-mail that criticized out mayoral candidate Annise Parker's sexual orientation and claimed to endorse one of her opponents, Gene Locke. The Rev. Willie Wright Jr., president of Christians for Better Government, said his group has not endorsed any candidate, and he professed the group's "love towards" both Parker and Wright.
