Vancouver delays blamed on new security procedures

Passengers trying to enter the United States from Canada were greeted with delays and missed flights over the weekend at Vancouver International Airport. Blame has been placed on new security procedures that now require luggage to be X-rayed before it goes through Customs. An airport official termed the back-up "growing pains" and insisted the new procedures will eventually make processing faster.
