Eateries find value in temporary locations

Restaurateurs are catching on to something retailers have long understood: the value of pop-up stores to test new concepts and attract additional business. For a restaurant called Chaya Venice, a nearby vacant store provided the ability to continue serving guests and winning buzz among new customers while its regular location was closed for remodeling.
