Maryland to integrate environmental education across the curriculum

Maryland state school board officials voted to include environmental education in all schools' curricula but stopped short of requiring it for graduation. No courses will be added for high-school students, but more environmental content will be integrated into biology and other classes. "I don't know how many things are as important as people understanding the environment," one board member said.
