Online pharmacies face a lawsuit from Google over fraudulent ads

Google has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against "rogue pharmacies" for violating company policy by illegally promoting prescription drugs through its online advertising program, AdWords. "Rogue pharmacies are bad for our users, for legitimate online pharmacies and for the entire e-commerce industry -- so we are going to keep investing time and money to stop these kinds of harmful practices," according to a blog post by company lawyer Michael Zwibelman.
