Survey: 60% of Portland, Ore., owners keep cats indoors at all times

A recent survey found that 60.4% of feline owners in Portland, Ore., keep their cats indoors at all times, most of whom saying they brought their cats inside 100% of the time after something happened to their pet while outdoors. An area veterinarian says that cats left unsupervised outdoors could put the animals at risk for injuries caused by raccoons, cars, dogs and other cats.
