Bill would allow California bars to sell infused alcohol

California Gov. Jerry Brown is being urged to sign a bill allowing bars to make and serve infused alcohol, a practice that is illegal under laws dating to Prohibition. The Legislature approved the measure without a single vote against it, and more than 600 people have signed a petition noting the current law restricts "a bartender's ability to do their job as creatively and efficaciously as possible."
