Company wellness programs show ROI over time

Some wellness programs may cost from $350 to $650 per employee each year but companies can see a return on that investment, Shawn Connors, president of Hope Health in Michigan, told York County, Pa., business professionals at a wellness summit. Anne Vallotton of Snyder's-Lance in Hanover, Pa., said the company's wellness program, which includes health screenings and an on-site clinic, has saved money on health costs and worker compensation benefits.
