Consumers have yet to embrace mobile payments, survey finds

Banks and their partners are working to offer consumers mobile wallets so they can make payments with their smartphones. However, a survey of consumers found that most aren't interested. "There is a lot of buzz right now, but it's not yet a reality for most consumers," said Greg Flemming, a senior vice president in the financial-services group at Lightspeed Research, which conducted the poll.
