Craft a social media policy that won't get you in legal trouble

Employers who fire their workers for their use of social media risk facing wrongful-termination lawsuits, writes Boris Segalis of InfoLawGroup. A report released last month by the National Labor Relations Board indicates the agency often considers overly broad social media policies unlawful. Segalis lists 11 common mistakes businesses make when crafting such policies, including banning employees from listing their companies' names on their social media profiles.
