Wash. teachers end weeklong strike with compromise

Teachers in Tacoma, Wash., have reached a deal with district officials to end their weeklong strike. Class sizes remain the same, but teachers' salaries will not be cut. The compromise also calls for changes to teacher assessments, seniority and staffing. The agreement also protects teachers who participated in the strike from disciplinary action.
