Ad Week begins with data and analytics on the mind

Big Data and analytics are expected to play a big role as the ad industry meets for Advertising Week in New York, with new data-related products expected from Acxiom and AOL. The weeklong show, which includes the IAB MIXX Expo, will focus on digital media, including how advertisers are adding social content to the mix. Marketing is now "equal parts art and science," said Matt Freeman, an operating partner at Bain Capital and chairman of Advertising Week.
