Architect embraces BIM, sustainable design

John Seppanen, a BIM specialist who is serving as senior project architect with UrbanWorks Architecture in Minneapolis, says he has always been interested in sustainable design. "The recession really forced a lot of people to rethink things, and for me, I’ve been able to leverage some of my technical skills," said Seppanen, who became certified in Revit software.
