N.H. district serves locally grown fruits, veggies

John Lash, the new foodservice director in a New Hampshire school district, has worked over the summer to overhaul the school-meal program. Part of the transformation includes serving meals that feature food from local farms, including meat, fruits and vegetables. The district also will ban flavored milk and give students the option of receiving a bottle of water with their meals.
