Satellite technology helps engineers work on traffic woes

Many Washington-area roads can't handle the volume of cars at rush hour, but engineers say they can now better pinpoint where and when the traffic is worst. Cars equipped with GPS units were driven over different routes in the area and clocked for speed, distance and location.
