Burger sales strong, but firms look to expand

Though hamburgers are still the most-ordered beef items in many restaurants, owners and suppliers recognize that to remain competitive, consumers need variety. Some experiment by offering new burger toppings, including pineapple and teriyaki sauce, whereas others are moving beyond burgers to include chicken and more salads in their offerings.
