Boston busing panel calls for more neighborhood schools

Last night, amid cheers and boos from the parents in attendance, a Boston task force on busing delivered a report that recommended more children attend neighborhood schools. While some parents objected to the push for more neighborhood schools, many were upset that the task force stopped short of advocating a return to local schools for all children.
