Army Corps of Engineers emphasizes crane safety

The Army Corps of Engineers has made crane safety a top priority in Texas. The 2005 military base closure project in San Antonio calls for more than $2 billion in construction. The Corps of Engineers is requiring crane operators to show proof-of-training certificates and have medical evaluations before beginning work.
