Delivery company uses biometrics for secure delivery

BayCare Health System, which has nine hospitals in Tampa, Fla., is using a biometric security system that requires palm-vein scanning as part of its identification process. The PalmSecure devices use an infrared light that secures an image of a patient's vein pattern, which is then linked to a database of scanned palm veins.
