Dow, Ford execs plan summit to look at technology, environment

Top executives for Ford Motor and Dow Chemical were expected to come together on Monday to announce a convention next year to evaluate the future of technology, energy, manufacturing and the environment. The National Summit would be co-chaired by Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford and Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris, and companies including Motorola, AT&T, General Motors, Chrysler and IBM are considered likely to participate.
