Shell reopens Baghdad office, announces natural gas deal

Royal Dutch Shell has opened an office in Baghdad, the first major oil company to do so since Iraq took over the oil business in the 1970s. Although Shell said the move indicates Iraq has become more stable, the company did not disclose where the office is located, and the announcement of a multimillion-dollar natural gas deal was made in a heavily guarded area of the capital.
