Ellison eager for EU blessing on Oracle-Sun deal

Oracle chief Larry Ellison says he anticipates the European Union will follow the U.S. in approving his company's $7.4 billion acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Ellison also noted Oracle has no intentions of divesting Sun's MySQL to allay antitrust concerns, asserting the database does not compete with Oracle's own.
