Heat plus chemo reduces chance of cancer recurrence

A German study showed patients with cancer in soft tissues who got heat treatment and chemotherapy were 42% less likely to die or have recurrence at the same site. Researchers suggested it may be possible to use a lower dosage of chemotherapy by adding heat to a treatment regimen.
