JPMorgan, BofA change debit card rules

JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America announced on Wednesday that they will make important changes to the rules that govern debit card transactions. The two banks said that they would change the way they credit transactions and allow customers to opt out of overdraft protection. The move comes after the introduction of a bill in the House that would regulate bank charges on checking and savings accounts.
