Scotland parents want to be consulted on choices for head teachers

Some parents in Scotland are criticising decisions to appoint head teachers without parental input -- an issue expected to be decided during a Court of Session hearing next month. The Glasgow City Council allegedly did not consult parents when hiring at least one head teacher, which goes against the the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006.
