EU panel finds no link between GSK's Pandemrix and narcolepsy

A committee of the European Medicines Agency found no sufficient evidence that Pandemrix, an H1N1 flu vaccine by GlaxoSmithKline, causes narcolepsy, a rare sleeping disorder. "The committee concluded that the available evidence was insufficient to determine whether there is any link between Pandemrix and reports of narcolepsy, and that further studies were necessary to fully understand this issue," the agency said.
