Illinois DOT requests $85.2M for CREATE projects

Illinois' Transportation Department is seeking additional federal funds for three CREATE projects with a request for $85.2 million. The Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency projects include double track for freight trains, additional connection tracks and a computerized traffic control system.
