Official cites ongoing measures to clean up oil in Louisiana

Spill-cleanup efforts in Louisiana are ongoing even though BP has permanently plugged its damaged well in the Gulf of Mexico, officials said. There are about 23,000 workers, 80% of whom are in the state, said U.S. Coast Guard Rear Adm. Paul Zukunft. Crews are still dealing with oil along the coastline, and officials are monitoring the shores and waters, Zukunft added.
