Carriers urge U.S. to adopt national airline policy

Nicholas Calio, president and CEO of the Air Transport Association, is leading an effort by the industry to encourage the U.S. to adopt a national airline policy. The goal is to forgo the taxation and regulation that continues to plague the airline industry. "We keep talking about the same challenges over and over again for years, and yet nothing seems to happen," Calio said.
