Global spending on IT products and services will remain strong through the end of the year, but the growth will dip in 2012, according to Forrester Research. The annual growth rate of IT spending will be 5.5% next year, compared with 11.5% projected for 2011, Forrester says. By contrast, Forrester says emerging markets can expect spending growth in excess of 10%. Worldwide, IT consulting and systems integration are expected to show the biggest gains.
