Illnesses prompt warning about bed bud insecticides

More than a hundred Americans across seven states fell ill after being exposed to bed bug insecticides between 2003 and 2010, according to a study in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. The symptoms most reported by 111 patients were headache, dizziness, difficulty and pain while breathing, nausea and vomiting. Study co-author Dr. Geoffrey Calvert noted that most of the cases involved misuse of insecticides.
