$1.35M grant to back research on benefits of telehealth awarded

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute has awarded a $1.35 million grant to the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research to examine how telemedicine might benefit patients with chronic conditions. In the initiative, remote monitoring tools will be used to track the vital signs and general health of elderly African-American patients with heart failure.
