Economic woes may spook Halloween candy buyers

Fears over the economy have spooked 32% of shoppers who say they'll spend less on Halloween candy this year, according a report from the National Retail Federation. The NRF is projecting candy sales to be $2.08 billion, down from $2.33 billion last year. The NRF says overall, it expects spending on confections to drop 7.7%.
