How to start working with new teaching tools

Many teachers return to school eager to try out the teaching tools they learned during the summer, high-school English teacher Nicholas Provenzano writes in this blog post. He suggests ways teachers can integrate one new tool at a time, recognize when a tool is ineffective and move on, and take notes on how the tool was used to determine whether it was effective in the classroom.
