Sabine Pass requests federal approval for LNG export expansion project

Sabine Pass Liquefaction seeks to expand liquefied natural gas exports from its terminal in Louisiana and has sought the Department of Energy's approval for the project. Two LNG trains would be built under the proposal, which would allow the company to add 860 million cubic feet per day of gas in exports.
