S.C. nuclear facility to undergo increased NRC oversight

Duke Energy's H.B. Robinson nuclear plant in South Carolina will undergo additional oversight from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in regard to the automatic shutdown of a diesel generator in October 2012. The move "is warranted because we expect plants to ensure that all important equipment is properly inspected and maintained," said NRC Region II Administrator Victor McCree.
